Throughout the course, we have learnt and performed tasks that were relatively unknown to us before. Some of these tasks were starting a blog, planning a lesson, learning a concordance. This course has certainly opened another choice and interest of pursuing CALL for future studies.
Initially, we thought the Islamization of knowledge was unnecessary and redundant. However, in the process of the task, we made an important realization that we were Muslim students studying a Western, secular course and that it is our obligation to be able to bring out the best of both worlds.
This course really tested our abilities to cooperate and work as a team, meet deadlines and grasp learning within a stipulated time. It has also allowed us to think outside the box about language learning, especially for educators-to-be. We have learnt so much more about language software and learning tools and will definitely apply it to our existing knowledge.
